Hardscape Construction Manager

Ground FX is seeking a motivated, energetic professional to oversee and manage our Hardscape Installation Division. You must be self disciplined with an eager attitude to win and pursue our company goals. This position entails directly dealing with clients, crew and management to ensure a seamless process as each project progresses from sales to production with an emphasis on quality and job profitability. You will be required to manage 2 - 3 installation crews by - meeting clients prior to start of project, project scheduling, ordering materials, directing crews, communicating change orders to management, insuring quality control and closing the project. Ideal applicant must be a relationship builder with the ability to manage employees and clients while keeping a positive attitude. Ideal candidate must have: • Four years verifiable experience in hardscape installation / production. • A clean professional appearance • Valid US D/L and transportation • Knowledge of proper set up and installation practices of hardscape installations • Fully versed on reading and material take off’s on scaled drawings and blueprints. • Knowledge in techniques for measuring and calculating material i.e. soils, stone, pavers. • Knowledge, able to drive and operate skid steer loaders, backhoe and all hardscape equipment / tools. • Knowledge, able to use MS Outlook, Word, Excel. • Exceptional organizational skills. • Self disciplined, energetic and able to make self directed changes under pressure. • Positive attitude and able to pass that on to crews while holding them accountable. Optional skills: • Bilingual • ICPI Certification • NCMA Certification • CDL License Only candidates that meet these requirements will be considered.
