• Integrity – Ground FX sees integrity as a cornerstone. We maintain all necessary insurances, comply with all regulatory laws and adhere to all technical installation guidelines.
• Design – Ground FX provides design services, including scaled drawings when warranted.
• Dependability – We are very dependable and show up when promised. Although this is not reasonably possible to do 100% of the time, we guarantee we will contact you with a change of plans.
• Samples – When visiting potential customers, we gladly provide full size samples so that product design and color choices can be more easily made.
• Job Site Appearance – We keep our jobsite well maintained and leave it as minimally disrupted as possible.

• Precision Quality – We take extreme pride and consistently go the extra distance to ensure our installations are perfectly crafted with meticulous attention to corner miters, border and capping spacings, flat work pitches, etc.
• Paver and Wall Base – Our installations are performed with a minimum of 6” of base material for surface pavers and walls and a minimum of 12” for driveway or vehicular applications.
• Walls – Edge restraints are used on all of our wall applications. This provides insurance that a wall will not “push-out”.
• Paver Joint Fill – We only use polymer based joint fills (for non eco paver applications) as opposed to regular sand which prevents vegetation growth and insect penetration and mitigates joint fill migration.
• Paver Edge Restraints – Ground FX only uses ICPI approved edging systems. These systems provide better flexibility through seasonal temperature changes and allow vegetation growth right up along side of paver surfaces.
• Bedding Sand Restraint – We use a fabric beneath and along side the sand bed around the entire perimeter of our installations. This eliminates the potential for bedding sand migration therefore avoiding paver settlement.
• Tie in to Existing Structures – When joining paver flat work installations against building structures, Ground FX removes the existing covering (normally siding) when applicable. We then install aluminum flashing against the exposed structure and then pave to the flashing. The covering is then replaced, shaped to the newly installed paver system.
• “Over Dig” Precaution – Whenever an installation is performed within 3 feet of an existing structure, there is a greater chance that settlement could occur with a paver installation. This is due to the fact that when the existing structure was initially built, additional subgrade was removed and replaced for an approximate distance of 3 feet from the structure. The replaced subgrade however will not settle to a level of compaction required for a secure paver installation for a period in excess of 20 years. To counter this situation, Ground FX will excavate an additional 27 inches for a total of 36 inches. The structure's foundation is then lined with a rigid foam board and then filled with base material. This approach has been developed by an engineering firm and adopted by EP Henry as an appropriate safeguard.
• Wall Drain Systems – For all garden and retaining walls, Ground FX provides a 10-12 inch deep fill of drainage stone to allow water to flow through freely and for walls over 12 inches in height we include a piped drain system to transport water away from wall structure. Hydrostatic pressure, especially during freeze/thaw conditions, exerts extreme pressures on wall systems causing them to potentially fail or shift out of place.
• 3 Year Warranty – Ground FX provides a 3 year warranty on all original installation work. This warranty is transferable to subsequent homeowners for a nominal fee.
